Green Chef — frequently asked
How much can I save with a Green Chef coupon code?
New customers save 50% on their first box plus 20% off for the next two months. This discount applies automatically when you provide your email address during signup, with no special code required.
Do students get discounts at Green Chef?
Yes, students and graduates get exclusive discounts through Student Beans verification. The discount applies to ongoing orders, not just your first box, making organic meal kits more affordable throughout college.
Can I pause my Green Chef subscription to save money?
Yes, you can pause your subscription up to 5 days before your scheduled delivery date. This prevents unwanted charges during vacations or busy periods without canceling your account entirely.
Does Green Chef offer military discounts?
Yes, Military & Veterans, First Responders, Nurses, Medical Providers, and Teachers get special discounts. Verify your status through ID.me to access these exclusive rates on future orders.
Is there free shipping on Green Chef orders?
Green Chef includes delivery in their meal plan pricing rather than charging separate shipping fees. New customer promotions sometimes include "free shipping" language, but delivery is typically built into the box price.
Can I stack Green Chef gift cards with other discounts?
Gift cards stack with existing account credits but cannot be combined with discount codes. You can only use one gift card or discount code per plan, so choose the highest-value option available.
How do I get a refund if I'm unhappy with my Green Chef meal?
Contact customer service within 5 days of receiving an unsatisfactory item. Green Chef may provide credits for individual ingredients, partial refunds, or full refunds at their discretion after reviewing your concern.

Newsletter subscribers get early access to these seasonal deals.
