IHG Hotels & Resorts Promo Codes — Up to 20% Off

Yes. IHG One Rewards is free to join with no minimum spend to maintain basic Club status. Members earn points on every qualifying stay, access exclusive member rates, and receive complimentary Wi-Fi. Membership is open to anyone of legal age in their country of residence.

Sign in to your IHG One Rewards account, search for your hotel, and enter your code in the Promo/Corporate Code field on the rate selection screen before confirming. If the code doesn't apply, check that the property and rate type are eligible. Call 1-877-424-2449 for assistance.

If you find a lower rate for the same room on a non-IHG website after booking directly, IHG matches the price and awards 5X bonus points on your room rate, up to 40,000 points per claim. Submit the online claim form before check-out — claims cannot be processed after departure.

Most IHG-branded hotels earn 10 points per dollar spent. Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites earn 5 points per dollar, and IHG Army Hotels earn 3 points per dollar. Elite status adds a bonus of 20% to 100% on top of base earnings depending on your tier.

There are four tiers earned by qualifying nights or points in a calendar year:

• Silver Elite: 10 nights — 20% bonus points
• Gold Elite: 20 nights — 40% bonus points, Milestone Rewards
• Platinum Elite: 40 nights — 60% bonus points, complimentary upgrades
• Diamond Elite: 70 nights — 100% bonus points, free hot breakfast for two

IHG One Rewards Premier and Traveler credit card holders pay zero points for every fourth night when redeeming points for four or more consecutive nights. This applies to points-only bookings, not paid stays or Points + Cash reservations.

Yes. The Points + Cash option lets you combine as few as 5,000 points with a cash payment to cover the remaining cost of a Reward Night. Reward Nights using points alone start from 10,000 points, with no blackout dates across 7,000+ properties.

IHG provides a room at a comparable nearby hotel, covers the full cost of the first night including tax, arranges transportation, and refunds any advance deposit. This guarantee applies to reservations that are active at arrival — it does not cover reservations canceled before check-in.

Yes. The IHG One Rewards app provides exclusive member-only rates not available on third-party booking sites, plus no booking fees on direct reservations. The app also lets you track your points balance, Milestone Rewards progress, and manage your IHG One Rewards credit card account in one place.
