About JR Cigars
Since 1971, JR Cigars has supplied premium smokes to enthusiasts nationwide. First-time buyers can claim 30% off their order using a welcome code, and email subscribers receive an additional 15% off their debut purchase. Whether you're stocking up on Montecristo, Romeo y Julieta, or exploring samplers, current discounts—including 40% off AJ Fernandez and Rocky Patel—make this the moment to fill your humidor without emptying your wallet.
JR Cigars rewards repeat customers through the JR Insider Loyalty Program. Every dollar spent earns 1 point, and 1,000 points convert to a $25 discount. Bonus points arrive when you create an account (10 points), leave a review (10 points), or celebrate your birthday (50 points). Redeem up to $200 per order, but remember: points expire 90 days after issue, so shop often to preserve your balance.
- First-timers receive 15% off by joining the email and text list, plus early alerts on sales and new inventory.
- Browse JR Packs and Samplers for discounts reaching 80% off—perfect for testing multiple brands before committing to a box.
- Auto Ship delivers your favorites on schedule at standard shipping rates, with no surcharge for the convenience.
- Refer a friend who spends $100 or more, and you both pocket a $30 coupon for the next order.
Right now, JR Cigars is running a 35% off Montecristo White promotion and a 40% off Rocky Patel deal, both redeemable with the codes listed on the site. Stack these with loyalty points to maximize savings on every checkout.
JR Cigars — frequently asked
Does JR Cigars offer a discount for new customers?
New shoppers receive 15% off by subscribing to the email and text list. A welcome code offering 30% off the entire order is also available for first purchases, though select premium brands are excluded—review the terms at checkout.
How does the JR Insider Loyalty Program work?
JR Insider awards 1 point per $1 spent. Additional points come from account creation (10), product reviews (10), blog reads or video views (10), Facebook follows (10), five purchases over $100 (50), and an annual birthday bonus (50). Every 1,000 points equals a $25 discount, redeemable up to $200 per order. Points expire 90 days after issue, so frequent purchases keep your balance active. Apply rewards at checkout by logging in and selecting your discount.
What is the JR Cigars referral program?
When a referred friend completes a purchase of $100 or more, both of you receive a $30 coupon for future orders. No cap on referrals is listed, so invite as many friends as you like.
Does JR Cigars offer a military or first responder discount?
Active and retired military, veterans, first responders, doctors, nurses, and hospital staff qualify for 10% off orders. Verify your status through ID.me, and the discount applies automatically at checkout. This offer cannot combine with other coupons or order discounts.
What shipping options does JR Cigars offer?
JR Cigars provides six shipping tiers:
- JR Saver: $9.99, 2–8 business days via UPS or USPS
- Ground: $14.99, 2–5 business days
- Priority Mail: $16.99, 2–5 business days
- 3-Day: $18.99
- 2-Day: $24.99
- Next Business Day: $39.99
What is JR Cigars' return policy?
Returns require pre-approval within 30 days of purchase—email returns@jrcigars.com before shipping anything back. Unopened boxes and bundles in good condition may receive a full refund minus shipping. Cut or smoked cigars, samplers, singles, and Closeout Corner items are final sale. Unapproved returns incur a 50% restocking fee.
Can I get free cigars or accessories with my JR Cigars order?
Bundle promotions frequently include free samplers, humidors, cutters, or BOGO offers on popular brands. Check the Deals and Bundles sections for current freebies—offers rotate regularly.
What is the JR Cigars Auto Ship service?
Auto Ship schedules recurring deliveries of your chosen cigars at no extra service fee. Pick your brand and delivery date, then pay only standard shipping on each shipment—no premium for automation.
Does JR Cigars price match competitors?
JR Cigars claims to beat most online retailers on price. If you spot a lower advertised price for an identical product, contact customer service before ordering to request a price match.
Are there any states JR Cigars does not ship to?
JR Cigars does not ship to Hawaii or Utah. Additional rules apply by product:
- Flavored tobacco is banned in Maine, Massachusetts, and Washington, DC
- Nicotine pouches cannot ship to Arkansas, California, Colorado, Maine, Maryland, South Dakota, Utah, or Vermont
- California and Delaware require adult signature on delivery
