Ooma applies a Fair Use Policy of 5,000 outbound minutes per month on residential phone calls. For the vast majority of households, that limit is more than enough — it works out to well over two hours of calls every single day of the month.

Ooma Premier is the premium tier, available at $119.99 per year. It adds features like enhanced call blocking, a second phone number, and voicemail transcription. Every Ooma Telo purchase includes a free 60-day Premier trial so you can test it before committing.

Yes — Ooma normally charges a one-time $39.99 fee to transfer your existing phone number. That fee is waived when you hold an active annual Ooma Premier subscription ($119.99/yr), which effectively offsets a chunk of the annual plan cost right away.

Ooma offers a risk-free 30-day return policy on hardware. If the device isn't right for your home within that window, you can return it. Free shipping is included on Telo hardware and home security products, so there's no upfront delivery cost either.
