Our Time — frequently asked
Does OurTime offer military discounts?
Military members get 50% off subscriptions through verified offers at OurTime. The discount applies to new memberships and may increase during promotional events.
Can I pay for OurTime in installments?
Eligible members split subscription costs into four equal payments with zero interest. Accounts in good standing typically qualify, though the plan isn't available for every service.
Are there student discounts available?
Students receive 50% off subscriptions after enrollment verification. The savings match the military discount and work for new memberships.
What's included with free OurTime membership?
Free accounts provide profile creation with photo uploads, member browsing, message receipt from premium users, sending likes, and access to safety tools. Sending messages requires a premium upgrade.
Do promotional codes work on renewals?
Promotional codes apply only to first subscriptions for new members. Renewals revert to standard pricing unless you cancel before auto-renewal.
How much can I save with longer subscriptions?
Six-month plans deliver substantial monthly savings versus month-to-month billing. Twelve-month commitments reduce per-month costs by over 50% compared to monthly subscriptions.
What are Virtual Items and how much do they cost?
Virtual Items like Super Likes and Boosts increase profile visibility and signal interest. Premium members receive monthly Boosts automatically; others purchase them individually or in packs.
Can I get birthday discounts as an existing member?
Existing members qualify for 20% off during their birthday month, valid for 30 days. The personalized offer applies to subscription upgrades or renewals.
How do I cancel my OurTime subscription?
- Website or app purchases: Cancel in Account settings
- Apple purchases: Cancel via Apple ID subscription settings
- Google Play purchases: Cancel in the Google Play app subscription area
Are there refunds available for OurTime subscriptions?
Refunds for unused periods aren't typically available, except where state law grants specific rights. Some states permit 3-day cancellation windows or refunds for disability or death.
