About Road Runner Sports
Road Runner Sports serves dedicated runners and casual fitness enthusiasts with footwear and gear from HOKA, Brooks, ASICS, Nike, Saucony, and New Balance. First-time VIP members receive 20% off plus 5% back in Rewards Cash on their initial purchase. Free shipping applies to every order, and the 90-Day Perfect Fit Guarantee covers even worn shoes — a policy that removes the risk from buying premium footwear online.
VIP Family Sharing extends your membership to everyone in your household: your spouse or partner and children 21 or younger at the same address. Each person receives 10% Instant Savings, free shipping, and the 90-Day Perfect Fit Guarantee. Sign up for any VIP tier — the entry level starts at $1.99 for six months — then add family members directly through your account dashboard.
- Start with the $1.99 trial: VIP Family costs $1.99 for your first six months and delivers 10% Instant Savings plus free shipping immediately. One pair of shoes covers that cost.
- Layer VIP discounts over Outlet pricing: Outlet styles from Brooks, HOKA, and ASICS arrive already marked down. Your 10% VIP discount stacks on top for deeper savings.
- Subscribe to email alerts: Exclusive promo codes, new product drops, and early sale access land in your inbox before the general public sees them.
- Time purchases around Bonus Rewards Days: Five annual events boost Rewards Cash rebates to 20% or higher. Larger orders during these windows multiply your earnings.
Right now, you can use code ending in ...VE20 for an extra 20% off your order, or grab $40 off orders over $100 with code ...R40E.
Road Runner Sports — frequently asked
How much does Road Runner Sports VIP membership cost?
VIP Family costs $1.99 for six months, then $49.99 annually. VIP Rewards Plus runs $69.99 per year, and VIP Platinum costs $99.99 annually. Higher tiers waive the fee if you purchase 3–5 pairs (Plus) or 5+ pairs (Platinum) of shoes each year.
What discount do new VIP members get on their first order?
New members save 20% instantly and earn 5% back in VIP Rewards Cash. Free shipping is included. Exclusions apply to international shipments and expedited delivery upgrades.
Do VIP members get free shipping on every order?
Yes, with no minimum purchase. Orders placed before 12 PM PT on weekdays ship the same day. Non-members pay $10.99 for standard ground shipping. Express and next-day options cost extra for all customers.
Can I return worn running shoes to Road Runner Sports?
VIP members can. The 90-Day Perfect Fit Guarantee lets VIP members exchange worn shoes, apparel, and accessories within 90 days for store credit toward a different make, style, or size. Non-members can return only unworn items within 60 days.
What is the difference between VIP Rewards Plus and VIP Platinum?
Both include 10% Instant Savings and free shipping. The difference lies in Rewards Cash rates:
- VIP Rewards Plus ($69.99/year): 10% Rewards Cash, 20% total savings
- VIP Platinum ($99.99/year): 15% Rewards Cash, 25% total savings, Bonus Rewards Days up to 30%+
Platinum makes sense if you buy five or more pairs of shoes annually.
How long does Rewards Cash stay valid?
Two years from your last purchase or until membership cancellation, whichever happens first. Rewards Cash posts within 72 hours of a qualifying purchase (occasionally up to two weeks). You must accumulate at least $1 before redeeming.
Can family members use my Road Runner Sports VIP membership?
Yes. Family Benefit Sharing covers your spouse or partner and children 21 or younger in the same household. All family members receive 10% Instant Savings, free shipping, and the 90-Day Perfect Fit Guarantee. Rewards Cash cannot be transferred outside this group.
Does the VIP discount apply to Outlet items?
Yes. VIP members apply 10% Instant Savings on top of Outlet markdowns. Outlet purchases do not earn Rewards Cash. Full-price items during Bonus Rewards Days often deliver better total value.
How do I find a Road Runner Sports coupon code that actually works?
Check the Groupon coupons page, sign up for the Road Runner Sports email newsletter, or log into your VIP account. Member-exclusive codes arrive via email and direct mail, especially around Bonus Rewards Days. Verify that your code applies to your specific items before checkout — Outlet products and select brands may be excluded. Current codes include ...VE20 for 20% off and ...R40E for $40 off orders over $100.
How do I cancel my Road Runner Sports VIP membership?
Cancel anytime for a prorated refund:
- Call 800-543-7309 to cancel and discuss your refund.
- Alternatively, call 855-314-0142 to reach a VIP Rewards Expert.
- California, Illinois, New York, and Vermont residents can cancel online through My Account.
Membership renews automatically each year. Cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge.
