You earn points for every completed eligible reservation. Most bookings earn 100 points, while Bonus Points tables earn up to 1,000 points. Accumulate 2,000 points to redeem for a $20 Dining Reward or $20 Amazon Gift Card. You need a free OpenTable account to participate. Restrictions apply by region.

You have three main redemption options:

• $20 Dining Reward at participating restaurants (2,000 points)
• $20 Amazon Gift Card (2,000 points)
• $10 Experience credit toward a prepaid OpenTable Experience (1,000 points)

Availability may vary by region — check your account for current options.

Bonus Points tables are designated restaurants that award up to 1,000 points per completed reservation — ten times the standard rate. You can filter for them when searching. They're the fastest way to reach a redemption threshold, especially if you're targeting a $20 Dining Reward.

Complete six or more reservations within a 12-month period to earn Gold status in the OpenTable Regulars program. There's no fee to participate — just dine out consistently through your OpenTable account. Gold status provides additional recognition at participating restaurants.

Eligible Visa Signature and Visa Infinite cardholders can link their card to OpenTable to access the Visa Dining Collection. This provides entry to primetime reservation slots at high-demand restaurants and invitations to exclusive dining events. Link your card through your OpenTable account settings. Restrictions apply — see terms for participating restaurants.

OpenTable Experiences are prepaid dining events — including tasting menus, wine pairings, and chef-led demonstrations — bookable through the app or website. You can apply Experience credits (1,000 points = $10 off) at checkout. They're a practical way to try a unique dining experience while putting your earned points to work.

Standard restaurant reservations don't typically use a promo code at checkout — savings come through your Dining Points balance instead. When an OpenTable coupon code is available, it generally applies to prepaid Experiences or gift card purchases. Enter the code in the discount field on the payment screen before confirming.

Yes. OpenTable offers both digital and physical gift cards redeemable at participating restaurants within the network. They're a solid option for special occasions or when you want to give someone the flexibility to choose their own dining experience. Check opentable.com for current denominations and purchasing options.

Participation is voluntary. To withdraw, contact OpenTable at privacy@opentable.com. Note that certain account actions — like requesting data deletion or closing your account — may also result in automatic withdrawal from the program. Your points balance may not be recoverable after withdrawal, so redeem before leaving.

OpenTable reviews are submitted only by diners who completed a confirmed reservation through the platform — not open to anonymous posts. This means ratings reflect genuine dining experiences, making them more reliable for deciding where to book. You can read reviews directly on each restaurant's OpenTable profile page before reserving.
