Yes. You can request a free travel proposal and itinerary consultation with a Tourlane travel expert at no cost. There's no obligation to book — it's a genuine planning session, not a sales pitch dressed up as one.

No extra cost. TourlaneCare Basic is automatically included with every Tourlane booking. It covers 24/7 emergency assistance and crisis management, plus offline access to your travel documents through the Tourlane App.

TourlaneCare Flex lets you make one free cancellation or change up to 30 days before departure, waiving the standard fees. You pay a non-refundable upgrade fee at the deposit stage. It doesn't cover flights and isn't available for Tanzania, Kenya, or Namibia.

Under TourlaneCare Basic, cancellation fees are structured as follows:

• Up to 45 days before departure: 20% of the booking amount

• 46 days to 31 days before departure: fees apply on a sliding scale

• Less than 7 days before departure or no-show: 90% of the booking amount

Upgrading to TourlaneCare Flex waives fees for one cancellation.

Yes. Changes are possible up to 30 days before departure. Here's how the two tiers compare:

• TourlaneCare Basic: $50 per person fee, plus any applicable price differences

• TourlaneCare Flex: one free change with no fee and no price-difference charge for that single use

Everything is digital. Your itinerary and travel documents are sent via email and stored in the Tourlane App, which supports offline access — handy when you're somewhere with patchy signal and need your booking details fast.

Once you submit a booking request, it's binding on your end for 16 calendar days while Tourlane confirms availability with their travel providers. Make sure you're ready to commit before you submit.

Tourlane accepts credit cards and debit cards. Payment is split into stages:

• Initial deposit: confirms your trip offer at booking

• Remaining balance: due closer to your departure date
